Opening Entry, and the Legend Begins.....
I was unable to watch most of the first night of the Democratic National Convention, , but fortunately I was able to catch the last two speakers. Slick Willy Clinton, accompanied by his wife, Hitlary. Truly laughable, these people.
First Hillary. Expressing her love and admiration for Senator Kerry, and telling all the great things he is going to do for the American people. Raise salaries for police, firefighters, EMT's (raise taxes), raise salaries for our men and women overseas (raise taxes), and socialize healthcare, (implement Communism as the true government of the USA). Watching Hillary for oh, I guess it was about 10-15 minutes, I occasionaly muted the TV and just laughed at her facial expressions. It was almost painful for her to do this. Is there a doubt in anyone's mind that this woman would kill to be President?
After Hitlary's ranting and rhetoric we were introduced to Mr Rhetoric himself, former President Bill Clinton. Through the introduction the PA System played Bad Company's "Can't Get Enough of Your Love". Yeah right, I think Yasser Arafat and Ariel Sharon have a more intimate relationship than these people.
Clinton got a rousing ovation that lasted nearly 5 minutes, proving that Democrats can't think faster than 4 years ago. This is what is so hard about listening to Bill Clinton. Everyting he said, he's said it all before and it's not very interesting. Except for one point in his speech, he actually admitted to draft dodging as kind of a passing of the torch to John Kerry as the new Democratic Czar.
I only caught a few clips of Al Gore and Jimmy Carter's speeches but from what I did see, I'm glad I missed it.
Kind of funny that they would put Gore and Billary on the podium on the very first night. I think the Clintons are a huge distraction to Kerry and he desperately needs to seperate himself from the pack of Dems. So with the distractions out of the way, what's up for the next 3 nights? Wait and see....
