In his speech he said they're are weapons or mass destruction right here in the United States; poverty, homelessness, fear. Dennis, think about what you just said. Poverty, homelessness and fear can't kill millions of people in a day. Sarin gas, mustard gas, nuclear weapons can. You gotta protect the flock before you tend to it. Get it right.

I was glad to see Al Sharpton. There is something about Al that when you see him you just start to chuckle. He's a character, nothing more. But his speech was so viscious and hate-filled that you can't even take this guy seriously. In Sharpton's opinion a vote for George Bush means blacks will lose all freedom. Are you serious? I can't beleive this speech was even allowed. He even went so far as to say if George Bush had been on the Supreme Court bench in 1954 Clarence Thomas would've never made it to law school! I'm sorry but that's a cheap shot with no valid backing. He did have a funny little bit at the end though. Speaking on Bush's speech wherein he was talking how the Republican party use to have Frederick Douglas and Abraham Lincoln, Sharpton reminded the hall that Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation which stated former slaves were to receive forty acres and a mule. "We never got that mule, but we'll ride this donkey all the way to the end!" Just picturing Al Sharpton on a donkey was enough to make me considering calling PETA.

John Edwards daughter is hot. That's all I'll say about that.

John Edwards wife is fat. That's all I'll say about that.

John Edwards delivered the same speech he's delivered since January; two Americas, first to go to college in his family, son of a mill worker, blah blah blah. And then he asked the hall if they were sick of the negative attacks against John Kerry. Hell-freakin-O! The whole Democratic campaign is a negative attack against George Bush. And they aren't negative attacks against Kerry. They're the TRUTH against John Kerry. This Convention is not Pro-Kerry it is Anti-Bush. Hatred can't run a country.

Tomorrow night should be interesting.

Tony

The Very Easy to Forget Howard Dean

No wonder this guy didn't even come close to grabbing the Democratic Nomination! But I can see why Democrats like this Obama guy. Energetic, young, and captivating he almost made me want to beleive in these people. But could you seriously not find a Keynote Speaker who's name didn't come so close to OSAMA?

Now the pride of the Democrats was being able to grab Ron Reagan, the late President's son. Now I can completely understand why Mr Reagan has a problem with our President, George W. Bush. When you have a family member that is sick, and there's a guy basically saying "My God doesn't allow it", that would really piss me off as well. But here's the thing. I consider someone who's been living for 80 years, has a mortgage, and grandchildren a lot more alive than a fetus that hasnt even fully developed into anything that resembles a baby. The only thing I'm dissapointed about is that the Democrat's couldn't care what Ron Reagan was speaking about, they just love that they have the Republican's favorite President's son on their side.

Now on to Teresa Heinz Kerry. Wow. This was the first time I have ever heard Mrs. Kerry speak and I actually wasn't shocked. If you watched this too, you noticed that Mrs Heinz has quite a foreign accent. I really really do not want this woman as First Lady of the USA. What's with the scarf? Sorry babe, I want an AMERICAN woman sitting in the White House, not some fake scarf wearing woman that trys to cover up her accent to please others. You're not fooling anyone honey.

Quite boring night. The next two nights promise to be much more entertaining with John Edwards on Wednesday then the Lurch, excuse me, John Kerry on Thursday night. We'll see what happens.

Tony

Kobe Bryant Trial = Waste of Good Money

Kobe Bryant is completly and totally innocent of his accusation and this case should have been dismissed a LONG time ago. Now I'm not naieve enough to think that this is the only time Kobe has ever had sex with a 19 year old white girl. But unfortunately crazy women don't walk around with "Crazy" carved into their foreheads.

So as we've all heard many times Kate Faber, Bryant's accuser, had sex a few hours after she was "assaulted" by Kobe. What's your excuse for that. Now I will never know what it feels like for a woman to be raped, but I highly doubt that a rape victim would want to go and have sex to make it all feel better. What we have here, is a girl who wanted to touch fame (among other things) and got bit in the ass by her upper-class, predominately white neighborhood.

Here's how it goes. Kate Faber voluntarily goes to Kobe's room. Maybe they chat for a bit, and then he bangs the slut. That's right, thats what she is and she will be called as such. OK, great now you had sex with one of the greatest players in the NBA. So now what? Let's go party!

So Kate Faber goes to her friend with benefits, and gladly has sex again. Then after that she just has to tell someone about her great time with Mr Kobe. Word spreads, someone leaks it to her parents. Uh-oh.

So here's two theories which are both HIGHLY likely. Kate Faber's parents find out she had sex with a black guy. Oh my God, this would ruin the sluts reputation! "He raped me Daddy, I swear, I was too afraid to tell people because he was a rich black man and of course, everyone know's what happens when black athletes relationships with white girls go bad!"

So in her father's head he starts thinking. "I'm pretty sure the last Sports Illustrated magazine had a peice on Kobe getting the guaranteed maximum contract next year. Plus endorsement deals and all that....... I'm not that stupid to pretend my daughter isn't a slut, I mean I did find her with 3 guys in the back of her mothers car once. So I'll just go along with it and maybe we'll go to the bank on this guy. I mean he's rich anyways, he's not gonna need all of it"

OK maybe thats not EXACTLY what happened. But when you look at the facts, Kate Faber's sexual history has been reported and examined and if these were Colonial times, she'd have more Red A's on her outfit than the whole Alabama football crowd. Think about it... she gets "raped" has sex hours later with another guy.

Acquit Kobe and stop wasting SOOO much taxpayer money.

Tony

Ricky Williams Retires

Sunday was quite a shock when I woke up, flipped it to ESPNews and found out that Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams had retired at age 27. Only five years in the leauge, about to start his third season with the Dolphins, a week before training camp.

At first I was extremely happy, considering that I hate the Dolphins and I love to see them squirm in this situation. Then I was a little dissapointed that Ricky decided to do this right before training camp. He's kind of deserting his team and his fans. How many people bought season tickets just to watch Ricky play 8 games?

Now I'm very proud of Ricky Williams. Someone once told me that when you have a job, it doesnt matter if you're digging ditches , you should always love what you do. Ricky didn't love playing football in the NFL, and I salute him for leaving. There's no point in continuing to do something you don't want to do, to please others. Now Ricky feels completely free and his enjoying his time in Asia.

Who wouldn't love to do this? He plays 5 seasons in the NFL, makes enough money to support his family for generations and spends the rest of his life, living it on HIS terms.

But why all the deserting talk? Pat Tillman left the Arizona Cardinals to join the US Army after the September 11 attacks and is a major hero for doing so. But Ricky Williams leaves the NFL and all of a sudden he is an immature pothead. Why is it that to leave the NFL you must join the military or you are a deserter.

The NFL generates more revenue that any sports leauge in the United States, and still the players have the lowest average salary of any of the Big 4 sports leagues. The NFL is mad about this because they think of themselves as Gods. How dare someone want to leave and do whatever he wants before he gets injured or spends the rest of his life getting banged up for 15 years so he can be put in the Hall of Fame.

I do beleive that marijuana played a role in Ricky Williams departure. And if it was, the NFL is the only one to blame here. Why, why, why does the NFL test for recreational drugs? I am a firm beleiver in steroid testing for all athletes in all sports. But if someone goes home after the game and smokes pot, how does that affect the integrity of the game? You certainly aren't enhanced and it's not going to give you or anyone else in the NFL and advantage over the next guy.

In closing, all I can say is, way to go Ricky. Have fun in Asia, don't think twice about your decision. Spark it up in Japan while sipping on some saki. Your free at last, free at last.

Tony

Opening Entry, and the Legend Begins.....

I was unable to watch most of the first night of the Democratic National Convention, , but fortunately I was able to catch the last two speakers. Slick Willy Clinton, accompanied by his wife, Hitlary. Truly laughable, these people.

First Hillary. Expressing her love and admiration for Senator Kerry, and telling all the great things he is going to do for the American people. Raise salaries for police, firefighters, EMT's (raise taxes), raise salaries for our men and women overseas (raise taxes), and socialize healthcare, (implement Communism as the true government of the USA). Watching Hillary for oh, I guess it was about 10-15 minutes, I occasionaly muted the TV and just laughed at her facial expressions. It was almost painful for her to do this. Is there a doubt in anyone's mind that this woman would kill to be President?

After Hitlary's ranting and rhetoric we were introduced to Mr Rhetoric himself, former President Bill Clinton. Through the introduction the PA System played Bad Company's "Can't Get Enough of Your Love". Yeah right, I think Yasser Arafat and Ariel Sharon have a more intimate relationship than these people.

Clinton got a rousing ovation that lasted nearly 5 minutes, proving that Democrats can't think faster than 4 years ago. This is what is so hard about listening to Bill Clinton. Everyting he said, he's said it all before and it's not very interesting. Except for one point in his speech, he actually admitted to draft dodging as kind of a passing of the torch to John Kerry as the new Democratic Czar.

I only caught a few clips of Al Gore and Jimmy Carter's speeches but from what I did see, I'm glad I missed it.

Kind of funny that they would put Gore and Billary on the podium on the very first night. I think the Clintons are a huge distraction to Kerry and he desperately needs to seperate himself from the pack of Dems. So with the distractions out of the way, what's up for the next 3 nights? Wait and see....

Tony
